A Contract Research Project Proposed by a Faculty Member of Our School Has Been Approved by the China Association of Valuation

Recently, the China Association of Valuation under the Ministry of Finance issued an announcement regarding research projects for 2026. The project titled A Study on the Mechanism of Data Asset Valuation and Full Lifecycle Management,proposed by Professor Yu Bingwen, has been approved.

The China Association of Appraisers under the Ministry of Finance conducted an open call for proposals for the 2026 research topics. Following a formal review of the application materials and a centralized expert evaluation, the projects were approved for funding after deliberation by the Associations Professional Technical Committee and final approval by the Associations leadership. This years approved projects closely align with national strategies and address pressing industry challenges, such as the marketization of digital factors, the refinement of asset valuation standards, industrial valuation practices, and high-quality industry development. They cover cutting-edge and critically needed research areasincluding data assets, the low-altitude economy, market capitalization management for listed companies, and asset loss assessmentaiming to produce research outcomes that combine theoretical depth with practical guidance to support standard revisions, industry training, and professional degree programs.
